⚠ This is a starter Terms of Service template. Operators must review with legal counsel before commercial use.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Court Central (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service Does

Court Central automates pickleball court reservations on third-party booking platforms (such as CourtReserve, PodPlay/Fairgrounds, and The Picklr) using credentials you provide. The Service interacts with those platforms on your behalf; you remain solely responsible for the bookings made.

3. Your Account & Credentials

You must be at least 18 years old.
Provider credentials you upload are encrypted with a per-user key derived from your magic-link session. Operators of the Service cannot decrypt them when you are logged out.
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your magic-link email inbox secure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we believe are being used to circumvent provider rate limits or terms of service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service to violate any third-party booking platform's terms of service.
Reserve courts you do not intend to use, or use the Service to engage in scalping or resale of reservations.
Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract credentials of other users.
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Third-Party Providers

Court Central is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CourtReserve, PodPlay, Fairgrounds Pickleball, The Picklr, or any other booking provider. Bookings are subject to those providers' terms, fees, and cancellation policies. We do not guarantee that a booking will succeed.

6. Fees & Refunds

Subscription fees, if any, are described on the pricing page at signup. Court fees charged by third-party providers are paid directly to those providers and are non-refundable through Court Central. See our Refund Policy for details on the 30-day money-back guarantee that applies to subscription fees.

7. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific reservation will be made.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Court Central and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed reservations, cancellation fees, or guest charges. Total liability for direct damages is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months.

8a. Automation Risk Acknowledgement

By enabling any automation feature you specifically acknowledge and agree:

Court Central acts as your agent and submits requests on your behalf using credentials you supplied.
Third-party booking providers (CourtReserve, Picklr, Fairgrounds, etc.) may suspend or ban accounts for using automation, scripts, or unattended access. Court Central does not control those policies and cannot prevent enforcement actions.
You assume all risk arising from automation use, including loss of account access, lost reservations, guest fees, and the inability to recover bookings made through banned accounts.
Court Central is not liable for any provider enforcement action, account suspension, or consequential loss arising from automated bookings.

Acknowledgement of this section is collected per-user via the in-app modal and is logged with a timestamp; you will be re-prompted whenever this Terms version changes.

8b. Liability Waiver

You expressly waive any claim against Court Central, its operators, contractors, and affiliates for damages arising from automation use, including but not limited to: third-party provider sanctions, account terminations, missed reservations, cancellation fees, refund disputes with providers, and any reputational harm. This waiver survives termination of your account and these Terms.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Court Central against any claims arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or any third-party platform's terms of service.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by emailing contact form . We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email and reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
